A good Batman game? No fucking way!! And yet it was, with a nice emphasis on combat, stealth, and to a lesser extent platforming and all of it handled so well that the gameplay automatically boosted it to many game of the year awards in what was overall a fairly mediocre year. Two years ago, back when Eidos was still Eidos and wasn?t owned by the tightfisted tyrants of Square Enix and when the family radio cult didn?t convince thousands of fucking idiots that the world was coming to an end for a third time, Batman: Arkham Asylum was released.
