Overall I would recommend this set.Occasional, these would be found, but were often dismissed as a forgotten ship graveyard, rather than a stockpile. Also I wish that the lights and sounds piece would have a switch instead of leaning to different angles for other sounds. The hornet looks nice but mine has a deformed cockpit. The vampire is very sturdy and takes a lot of pieces. I think that armor is sick and was very glad to see it in this set. One question I have for mega is when are they going to release an updated engineer variant of spartan armor. This set was a little toying for me, especially with the lights and sounds but I enjoyed displaying it and putting it in dioramas nonetheless.
No complaints except for the fact that I didn’t know how to Shut off the battery-powered lights and sounds features that were totally awesome. Two iconic vehicles and a load of figures- I love it so much. In its time, this set was probably the best deal for Halo Mega Bloks. Two great vehicles and 6 nice figs you cant go wrong with this one. Overall is rate this set 5 out of 5 stars. It also is much steadier then the hornet. I think the contrast of this vehicle looks great and it doesn't have any loose flaps or parts. The vampire is the reason I was after this set and yes, the vamp comes in my favorite dark iridescent purple color. The vehicle in itself is also a bit back heavy and tends to fall backwards a lot. The only thing I don't like about this vehicle is the back flaps are a tad loose and tend to fall down. Great vehicles, the hornet looks cool and has a very nice sharp green and silver colors scheme. The lights and sounds thing still works and the set is 4 years old for me. Only Bad thing is that the weapons were too thin so my LMG broke at halfĪ very nice set.
I got this at half price thanks to the high glorious above, It was awesome to have finally a Hornet with cool figures and you got even a second vehicle, sooo good.
